Long Island native Wendy Douglas got her big break in the television industry at the age of 13 as one of the original hostesses of the Nickelodeon kids' talk show "Don't Just Sit There". After the show's cancellation, Douglas worked i Position, Production and Development with Nickelodeon. She is an executive producer at Discovery Communications.
