Matthew Mirliani

Matthew Mirliani made his acting debut in 2001 at the historic Little Theatre of Alexandria in the Washington, DC metro area. From 2002 and 2006 he acted with a local children’s theater and starred in supporting and lead roles in a series of productions with The First Baptist Church of Alexandria. In 2006 he returned to the Little Theatre to play Young Patrick Dennis in Auntie Mame, earning a nomination for Best Junior Performance at the theater.
In 2007 he attended Interlochen Summer Arts Camp to study musical theater.
From 2008 to 2012 he played supporting and lead roles with the Stage One Players theater group at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School in Alexandria, Virginia. His roles included Jem Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird, Lewis in Pippin, a Narrator and Simon Stinson in Our Town, Albert Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie, Leon Tolchinsky in Fools, and Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. His performances in Our Town and Fools received acclaim from the "Cappies" student critics. In 2011 he attended the Virginia Governor’s School for the Visual and Performing Arts in Radford, Virginia to study screen acting.
Matthew continued theater at Dartmouth College, starring as Herr Schultz in Cabaret and James Lingk in Glengarry Glen Ross. In 2013 he would start a decade-long hiatus from acting, graduating from Dartmouth in 2016.
He is set to make his feature film debut in Ten Dates with Anna Marie, directed by Owen Patnaude, and the horror film Don’t Look Too Long directed by Miguel Jaime.
