Biography

Jubin Raj is an Indian sound designer, sound editor, and audio engineer with more than a decade of experience in broadcast media and the film industry. He earned his BTech in Computer Science in 2012 and later pursued his passion for audio by completing a diploma in Audio Recording and Sound Design from the Ramoji Academy of Film and Television, Hyderabad.

Over the course of his career, Jubin has worked on more than 100 films across various film industries, contributing in the areas of sound editing, sound design, location sound recording, and mixing. He began his professional journey in broadcast before transitioning fully into cinema, where he has collaborated on projects in multiple languages. His work is widely appreciated for combining imaginative soundscapes with technical excellence to elevate storytelling.

Jubin’s contributions to sound have earned him recognition within the industry, including acknowledgment at the Indian Re-Recording Arts Academy (IRAA) Awards in Mumbai for Best Sound Design & Mixing.

Beyond his professional engagements, Jubin’s passion for immersive audio led him to establish SoundSmith Studio, a Dolby Atmos studio based in Kollam. Through this studio, he continues to craft rich, cinematic sound experiences and support high-quality audio post-production.
