Royal Kennedy Rodgers is known for Hollywood's Architect: The Paul R. Williams Story (2020) and World News Tonight with David Muir (1953).

In 1976 she joined WMAQ-TV in Chicago as a reporter. Her husband simultaneously became news manager at crosstown rival WBBM-TV.

Met her husband Johnathan Rodgers when they were news reporters with WKYC-TV in Cleveland, Ohio.

In August 2021 she filed a trademark for FAN RANT a computer application software for mobile phones, tablets, namely, software for communicating with other users and participating in discussions on the same application. Providing an informational and entertainment website in the field of sporting and entertainment events; providing a website featuring news and information in the field of sports and entertainment.
