Biography

Kiran Raj (05 July 1993) is an Indian actor, model, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is one of the popular faces in the Kannada and Hindi Cinema and Entertainment industry.

Kiran was born in Mysore, Karnataka to Suresh MS and Lalitha Suresh. His father is an Ex-Army officer and his mother is a homemaker. Kiran also has a sister named Pooja.

Born and bought in an Army based family, Kiran completed his schooling in Delhi. He then shifted to his native Mysore. However, he completed his studies and graduated in Alva's College, Moodabidri, Dakshina Kannada.

Kiran Raj holds a degree in film making in Zee Institute of media arts (ZIMA). He holds a diploma in TV presentation and Voicing, diploma in acting as well. As a media enthusiast, Kiran has also interned in a popular news channel.

He has acted along with a legendary Kannada Actor. Ananth Nag in the film 'March 22' before making his debut Kannada debut with 'Watchman. He did another movie in Kannada movie 'Asathoma Sadhgamaya' opposite Radhika Chetan and Sukrutha Nag[. Kiran Raj has also signed a new Telugu recently, which is set to shoot.

Kiran made his TV debut in Hindi television with popular shows like 'Heroes', 'Love by Chance (Indian TV series)', 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' and 'Tu Aashiqui', which gave him immense popularity. His Character as Monty Shetty in 'Tu Aashiqui' garnered attention in a short span. He has also acted in 'Crime Patrol (TV series)' and 'Aashayein' on DD National. After appearing in popular shows in Hindi TV, Kiran moved to Bengaluru and appeared in a reality show 'Life Super Guru'. He was part of a Dance Show on Suvarna TV.

Moving on, Kiran then played the male lead role in the serial 'Devathe' and portrayed the character Nitin. He also appeared in two more shows titled 'Gundayena Hendthi' and 'Chandramukhi' as a lead actor again. However, Kiran became a household name for his on-screen character Nakul of 'Kinnari'. He is currently seen playing the role of a rich business tycoon Harsha in a popular daily soap 'Kannadati'.

Having shown interests towards Astronomy, Kiran always aspired to become an Astronaut and spend most of his childhood days in planetarium. He would always show interest in exploring more of Astronomy related books. He is also fascinated by bike riding and he was into car racing before. In his free time, he enjoys virtual reality gaming. The actor owns a restaurant in Bangalore (DOT )Diet on table. In order to serve the needy, Kiran Raj started a foundation 'Enlight Foundation'. Having started on a small scale, the charity concentrates on providing education to homeless children, and also build a community for the senior citizens
