Ilse De Rauw

Belgian-Flemish actress with more than 30 years of experience in theatre, film and television. I played in a wide range of well-known Flemish and Dutch television productions such as Onopgelost, Thuis, Styx, Arcadia, Chantal, Familie, Professor T.. Also managed to make her mark in the film world, with roles in films such as Lijmen/Het Been, directed by Robbe De Hert, and more recent films such as Rookie (2022) and Milano. Directors praise her for her ability to portray authentic characters with psychological depth. In theatre, she played beautiful leading roles in productions such as Dogville by Lars Von Trier (2017) and Pas de deux by Hugo Claus (2016). Again, her ability to convey complex emotions on stage proved to be her strengths. Able to portray a broad spectrum of characters, from powerful leading roles to subtle supporting roles. Besides acting, she possesses some useful skills: Very skilled in improvisation, yoga and horse riding.
