McKinley Mac Bundick, Jr. is an action/drama-comedy writer who left a 12-year, 2-time Emmy award-winning career as a broadcast news director to pursue a career as a television writer. Raised a suburban black kid from Hampton, VA, with a love for video games, comic books, D&D, and 90s nostalgia. Mac uses themes of family, community, and revenge to tell his stories. This distinctive blend of themes and experiences makes his stories a captivating exploration of the human condition. Mac is a 2023 BlueCat quarterfinalist and a Writers' Assistant on SEAL Team (Paramount+), where he recently wrote his first episode in the 7th and final season (episode 709).
