Biography

Michelle Renee Shaffer was born and raised in Southern California to a successful model in her own right and to her father an attorney. Michelle began dance classes at the age of five and loved being on stage and performing for the next ten years. Michelle Shaffer was in over 100 recitals until she reached high school. At the age of fifteen Michelle Shaffer was approached by a model scout. Her mother encouraged her interest in Modeling by having Michelle attend Modeling School. However, both her Mother and Father wanted Michelle to finish High School first, decide on college, and then make a decision if it was something Michelle wanted to do in the future. Michelle Shaffer attended SDSU and received her undergrad in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. Upon returning home, Michelle was once again scouted by LA Models. It was then that Michelle Shaffer began her lucrative career in fashion. Michelle Shaffer has been in numerous catalogues, national and international commercials, layouts in Harpars Bazarre, Vogue to name a couple, and on the cover of two English Magazines. Michelle Shaffer was with the prestigious Nina Blanchard Agency until Ford Modeling Agency took over. Michelle then focused her career on acting. Appearing in numerous TV guest spots. She has also appeared in several features, the most current being Still Waiting, playing opposite John Michael Higgins, as his fantasy girl. The film will be released sometime in 2008. Michelle Shaffer also found time to complete her Master's degree in Psychology in the past several years.
