Biography

Alex Katunich was born on August 18, 1976 in Calabasas, California, USA. He is an actor and composer, known for Stealth (2005), Spawn (1997) and Little Nicky (2000).

Dirk's words of advice for aspiring bass players is: "Stay off pot, stay in school," as he said for Bass Player magazine.

Has been playing bass guitar for more than ten years or so.

Dirk admits that he rarely ever listens to rock music, his favorite type of music is jazz.

Les Claypool and Duff McKagen from Guns N' Roses were Dirk Lance's biggest influences.

Was released from the group Incubus after 12 faithful years to the band. Replaced by Ben Kenney, ex-guitarist to the group The Roots.
