Published Poet has written over 20 poems ranging from romantic to political.

I would rather do the films that mean something to me, rather than compromise my integrity and work on something I don't believe in.

Telling the truth won't necessarily get people to like you but they have to respect you for being honest.

Dreaming is what makes the world progress. Whether Albert Einstein or Martin Luther King Jr. they have all had their dreams,and because of their integrity those dreams have changed the world as we know it in a positive way. Charles Ramirez Berg (Univ. of Texas at Austin) taught me that "as filmmakers we must be responsible with the images we project, because the message that we send can make a difference in the world."

People say you have to be lucky to be successful in the film business... Luck is found through persistance.

The reason I was able to do what I love...make films is because of the support my family has shown me throughout the years...believe in the aspirations of those you love it can give them the strength they need to achieve their dreams.
