  • Hou is an actress, screenwriter, producer, and stage actress from mainland China. She graduated from the Performance Arts Department of Beijing Film Academy in 2001.

    She started her acting career in 2005, starring in the movie "Gone with the Wind" and won the Silver Lily Award. In 2009, she starred in the movie "The Wind and Dust", which was shortlisted for the Cairo International Film Festival. In 2010, she starred in the TV series "Lady Shexiang" and won the second prize of the 29th Flying Apsaras Award for Long TV Series. In 2013, she starred in the epic drama "Heroic Age" produced by Zhang Jizhong; in the same year, she served as the first female narrator of the TV series "Archives" of Beijing Media Network.
