- After a successful career as a chartered accountant and then an insolvency rescue expert (following his father's business collapse on Ian's 17th birthday) where he was Chairman of Ian Franses Associates his firm was bought out by Begbies Traynor PLC.
Whilst still retaining a consultancy position Ian became the Chief Operating Officer of Peacock Film Finance which mainly specializes in raising equity finance mainly from media funds and High Net Worth Individuals.
Away from financing film and television Projects Ian is a keen tennis and table of tennis player. Before Ian discovered accountancy he represented England in the game of Bridge.
