Martina Ortiz Luis is a Canadian actress and singer, best-known for her role as Rachel Valdez in the People's Choice Award-winning series "Wynonna Earp". She’s appeared in the movie-musical "Juliet & Romeo", alongside Jason Isaacs, Rebel Wilson, and Derek Jacobi and has guest-starred in Netflix’s "FUBAR" opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro. She has also starred as Josie Suero in "Most Dangerous Game: New York" alongside David Castañeda, Christoph Waltz, and Anna Gunn.
Having built a reputation as a dynamic live performer, Martina has dazzled audiences across the country. She became the first official anthem singer in Toronto Maple Leafs history at 15 years old, holding the position for six seasons, singing for sold-out arenas and millions watching at home. Martina could most recently be seen onstage in the Toronto production of Disney's "The Lion King" at the Princess of Wales Theatre. Her newest single "Mad At Myself" and other original music is available across all music streaming platforms.
When she isn’t on set, performing, or making music, Martina can often be found with a book in hand, crafting her own stories, or diving into the creative process behind filmmaking. She’s also passionately involved in her community, encouraging and supporting the next generation of young creatives and performers with various non-profit organizations.
