Biography

Keld Heick was born on February 24, 1946 in Frederiksberg, Denmark. He is an actor and composer, known for Album (2008), Sonny Soufflé chok show (1986) and Langt fra Las Vegas (2001). He has been married to Hilda Heick since August 24, 1969. They have one child.

Has written lyrics to more than 1000 pop songs, among them several of the Danish contributions to the Eurovision Song Contests

He studied to be an elementary school teacher. He graduated in 1969 but has never worked as a teacher.

He had his first big hit in 1966 with "Ved landsbyens gadekær". At that time he was the lead singer in the Danish band Donkeys. The band broke up on New Years Eve 1980. Since then he's been working as a solo act and as a duo with his wife Hilda.
