Biography

Daniel Christian Jones is an award-winning Canadian-American actor who loves digging deep into excellent storytelling. He trained at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and earned a BFA in English/Theatre from Moravian College. Always seeking to grow and a learner at heart, he continues to sharpen his skills at studios in Toronto, including The Second City.

Daniel returned to acting in 2019, and has steadily worked in film, television, commercials and on stage ever since. Collaborating with innovative and passionate filmmakers is one of his great joys and he’s had the gift of working with emerging talents on several recent and upcoming projects including Isaac Rathé’s The Dweller and Shane R. Preston’s From The Ashes.

On stage, he is part of the main company at Wren Theatre in Toronto, appearing in Little Women, Pride & Prejudice, and upcoming shows Clue and an original adaptation of A Christmas Carol. Additional theatre credits include, The Heidi Chronicles, Tartuffe, Etta Jenks and originating the role of Geoff in JUNE at the Toronto Fringe Festival (2023).

Daniel was born in Port Angeles, Washington, raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and now resides in Toronto, ON, Canada.
