Julia de Guzman is a writer & filmmaker whose work focuses on the human side of climate, science, & social justice. She has directed two award-winning short films, BORN CURIOUS & LEAVES OF THREE, produces artful independent documentaries, including THE ARC OF OBLIVION (directed by Ian Cheney & Executive Produced by Werner Herzog) & THE LAST CLASS about professor Robert Reich, & founded a boutique film production company to create video content & branded campaigns for clients including The New Yorker, The National Park Service, Gates Ventures, The Ford Foundation, & The Environmental Defense Fund. She lives & works in New York.
