Biography

James Anthony Pearson is known for Control (2007), Jeopardy (2002) and New Town Killers (2008).

Born in Rochdale, Lancashire.

Has a diploma in mathematics and physics.

Has lived in Yorkshire, Qatar and Aberdeenshire, now lives in Edinburgh.

Studied mathematics for two years at Edinburgh University.

We were told that we were filming in the same wood where one of the big battle scenes (In The Lord of the Rings) took place. It was strangely exciting. I was thinking, 'Is this where Aragorn kicked ass? Is this where the Orcs attacked?'

When I found out I was auditioning for Kidnapped, I started to read the book. I had about 25 pages to go and I said to myself that I wouldn't finish it unless I got the part. So I finished it.
