Shirley Neal(I)

Shirley Neal is an author, journalist, and TV and film creative who has written and produced hundreds of hours of TV programming for TVOne, TV Land, BET, CBS, NBC, The Africa Channel, the Travel Channel, Fox Television, and A&E, as well as nationally syndicated programming and documentaries. The Los Angeles Emmy Award winner is also the recipient of three NAACP Image Awards-two for her work in television, for "Prince! Behind the Symbol," and "They Dreamed of Being First" (hosted by Cicely Tyson).
