Ashish Misra is a South African-born actor based in Los Angeles, known for his commanding screen presence and bold career transition from corporate finance and computer science to film. Before dedicating himself fully to the arts, Misra spent seven years working at one of South Africa’s largest banks, balancing a demanding corporate career while actively pursuing acting across film, commercials, and theatre in South Africa. A retired computer scientist, he ultimately made the defining decision to trade his Honours degree in Computer Science for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting for Camera, committing fully to his calling as a storyteller.

After relocating from South Africa to Los Angeles, he quickly positioned himself as an emerging international talent. Classically trained for the screen, Misra combines analytical discipline with emotional depth, bringing precision and intensity to his performances.
