- Danielle DeCourcey was born in Boston to a Barbadian-American mother and an Irish-American father. She attended Emerson College and American University before beginning a career in journalism that included covering the Boston Marathon Bombing, a stint as a graduate researcher at the Washington Post, and covering politics, racial injustice, and pop culture for a digital media company in Los Angeles.
She soon realized that she needed more entertainment in her life and completed the TV Writing professional program at UCLA, fully pivoting into screenwriting, producing, and development. She's produced, written, and appeared in several viral digital series and comedy sketches that have received millions of views, and she co-created the workplace comedy Your Daily Horoscope for the production company ATTN: which became Quibi's number one daily show.
She's also voiced or appeared in branded content and ads for Netflix, Showtime, AMC, Apple TV +, Redbox, Forward Healthcare, and Moen, just to name a few.
