James Anthony is an accomplished and talented actor, director, producer, writer, and photographer. The multi-hyphenate artist hails from New York City and holds his BA in Mass Communications from Savannah State University. James directed, wrote, executive produced, and starred in his debut short film, Crossroads, selected to the 2020 BronzeLens Film Festival and the IndieFest Film Festival, the latter of which garnered James a Best Actor award for his leading role as Rodney in the film.
His time on screen began early on as a Squad Member of the hit show Teen Summit, BET's popular program devoted to addressing issues faced by African-American teens, which won multiple NAACP Image Awards for the network.
