Biography

A graduate of University of Dayton with a music degree, Mary Ann taught music and piano at a Catholic Elementary school (K-8) in Louisville, Kentucky.

In 1983 she moved to Los Angeles where she became an editor on "Eye on LA", KABC-TV's daily and very popular show, where she won and was nominated for numerous Los Angeles Emmy Awards. She then moved to ABC Network, where she excelled in gaining technical experience in graphic compositing for network programming.

In 1992 she left ABC to return to show editing, working with Henry Winkler on the very popular paranormal weekly series called "Sightings" for Fox. Other shows followed, including Primetime Specials and Independent films.

In 1997 Mary Ann returned to ABC to work on the soap operas "General Hospital" and its spin off show, "Port Charles". When NBC started the soap opera," Passions", she moved over and remained there until its cancellation later in 2008. During her 9 years there, she excelled as their lead offline editor/associate director and then online editor. During her time at all three soaps, she was nominated for multiple Daytime Emmys.

She believes that from her musical training, she continues to excel both in her technical and creative skills in which she is passionate and thrives on excellence.
