Carlos Lerma is an award-winning writer, director, and animator from Monterrey, Mexico. He has created a collection of over a dozen short films, including the critically acclaimed live-action "DON CHINGÓN" (2024) and the animated "Call Me Crazy" (2025), which have screened at festivals worldwide. He has delivered a TEDx talk on immigration and the power of doing your own thing, and his work often reflects themes of boyhood, love, and the immigrant experience. Lerma is also the author and illustrator of several poetry books, including "Adultish", and has been featured in the Chicago Tribune and The Guardian.
