Biography

Jason Gaes was born in 1978 in Worthington, Minnesota, USA. He died on June 25, 2018 in California, USA.

Son of Craig Gaes and Geralyn Gaes; twin brother of Tim Gaes, and brother of Adam Gaes and Melissa Gaes.

Jason accepted the G.I. Joe Real American Hero award and the Most Caring Young Adult in America by the Caring Institute in Washington DC, presented by Barbara Bush in 1991.

He was honored by Presidents Ronald Reagan and George Bush with the "American Courage Award" and "1000 Points of Light Award" for his work with children with cancer. He also received Hall of Fame Awards from the American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald Corporation and Disney's Mickey Mouse Club Show and a Distinguished Achievement Award by the Elementary School Principals Association.
