- Waliul Haq Rumi was born on October 24, 1964 in Barguna, East Pakistan [now in Barguna, Bangladesh]. He was an actor, known for Bihongo (2000), Alta Banu (2018) and Doriaparer Douloti (2010). He died on April 22, 2024 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
- He was the third child among three brothers and three sisters.
- Son of independence activist Azizul Haque and Hamida Haque.
