Jan Rowell(1932-2015)

Jan was involved in designing the iconic leather cat suit worn by actress Diana Rigg in the original TV series The Avengers. Inspired by the work of a private, appointment only fetish wear atelier in London she also worked with their craftspeople to learn how such garments were constructed. She was later contacted to assist in rebuilding the costume because the current costume team was unable to match the fit and durability of the original as they were unfamiliar with the trade secrets involved in making such a garment work.
