Mike Barkhoff is an American filmmaker, writer, actor, and music producer. Born in Iowa, Barkhoff's debut short film occurred in 2013, at the age of 13. Following this, he began to make and release films at a heavily increased rate. At the age of 17, Barkhoff released a school project trailer for the autobiographical novel 'Into The Wild' to overwhelmingly positive reviews from his school's teachers and classmates. This introduced him to Pokey Spears, another Iowa native, who helped Barkhoff hone his craft for the following years. Barkhoff followed this release with horror short debut 'Candlelight', which is considered by many to be his magnum opus, the web series 'Chapters.', which has amassed positive reviews for a majority of it's episodic installments, and three feature films.

Began working on films at the age of 13 due to a Tech Class assignment.
Released his sophomore feature film "Windfall" by surprise with no prior announcement.
Released debut feature film "Infinite" at the age of 18 in 2018 and sophomore effort "Windfall" at the age of 20 in 2020.
Has signed multiple musicians and helped them distribute their works, including Mcee Detox, Norff, Gee Mak, and formerly Baby June. He has also helped push the distribution to musicians UGK David, Yung Bong, and, in early June 2020, revealed he was working alongside an upcoming artist named Slick to produce and distribute his debut.
At the age of 18, a musician he tried to sign tried to flip the table to buy Barkhoff's music label out from under him. Barkhoff declined and admitted to being worried that he made the wrong decision due to his inability to publish music to the radio. Little more than a year later, Barkhoff was able to send songs to the radio.

It was a big mental, stressful obstacle and I probably lost some sanity over it.
It's impossible for everyone to be on the same wavelength or in the same mindset let alone similar wavelengths or mindsets. Only time I bare mind is if it's constructive criticism from a reliable source who has a good idea at what I could be doing better or worse
Someone tried to buy Barking Vans so Jarrod and I wanted to make something that proved we didn't need that deal. We came up with a web series that we imagined as the 'Breaking Bad of YouTube' so this came from that.
Drown had a controversial ending I wasn't comfortable releasing. It also wasn't as good as I hoped, especially not for a return from hiatus film. Maybe some day but I'm doubtful.
Behind Closed Doors With A Hole In The Wall. Very experimental approach, always wanted to do a film that lends it's story to an album. Decided to tackle the late Mac's fantastic 'Divine Feminine'.
