Fernando de Garay - Director & photographer.
Fernando de Garay was born on January 4th, in Mexico City.
An extremely curious child, Fernando was able to dismantle any electronic device in seconds just to see what was inside.
Fernando started shooting film in his early teenage years using his father's (a serious aficionado) Super 8 Beaulieu film camera.
His first filming Jobs were music videos, always shot on 35mm or 16mm and eventually on super 8 film.
He studied Cinematography at New York Film Academy under the direction of Jerry Sherlock.
Fernando shot bigger artists every time, until finally he's got the MTV Award for Best Latin Video with "Ingrata by Café Tacuba".
