  • Leif Eisenberg is a screenwriter, who grew up in Upper-Bavaria in Germany. He started making short films and writing prose at an early age. After attending screenwriting classes as a guest student at the HFF Munich for a year, he began his studies in screenwriting at the renowned Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. During this time, he wrote several feature films and shorts. His screenplay ''A question of honor'' (Eine Frage der Ehre) was selected as part of the Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris program and produced in co-production with ARTE and SWR in association with the french film school La Femis. The short film premiered at the Max Ophüls Preis Film Festival in 2025.

    Over the course of his year abroad, Eisenberg attend the Hollywood-Workshop in Nigeria, where he co-wrote the short film ''Okpen-Eze'' (By the Riverside), which had it's premiere at the 28th Talllin Black Nights Film Festival in 2024. Afterwards he studied at the Cinema Arts Department at the Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri for six months. During this time, he wrote and directed the short film ''Poor Sinner''. At the International Student Film Festival Sehsüchte in 2023 he was nominated for the best pitch with his feature film spec-screenplay ''The Bishop's Crown'' (Die Bischofskrone).

    He finished another spec script for a feature film, titled ''Maleficus'' and is working on his diploma screenplay for his studies at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg.

    Eisenberg is based in Munich.
