Biography

Estelle Peck Ishigo was born on July 15, 1899 in Oakland, California, USA. She was a writer, known for Days of Waiting (1991). She was married to Arthur Shigeharu Ishigo. She died on February 25, 1990 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Was one of the few Whites to be interned with Japanese Americans during World War II when she refuse to be separated from her Japanese American husband. They were interned at Heart Mountain, Wyoming.
