Pygmalion Dadakaridis is a highly regarded actor of the Greek stage, cinema, and television, known for his versatility and emotional depth. He was raised in a multicultural environment by a Greek father and an English mother, a background that informed his early professional steps. Although his initial academic pursuits focused on computer programming and marketing, he eventually redirected his ambitions toward the performing arts. His acting career began in Great Britain, where he secured his first role after responding to a newspaper advertisement for an audition. In 1996, he moved to Greece to further his training and professional development, eventually graduating from the "Themelio" Drama School under Nikos Vastardis in 1999. Dadakaridis achieved widespread national recognition through his role as Kimon Sarantinos in the popular television series Peninta-peninta (2005), appearing alongside prominent actors Petros Filippidis and Sakis Boulas. This success served as a breakthrough, leading to a consistent presence in major Greek television and film productions. His career reached a significant critical milestone in 2020 when he was awarded the Best Actor prize by the Hellenic Film Academy for his performance in the biographical drama Eftihia (2019), directed by Angelos Frantzis.
