Alex Akira is from Burlingame, CA. Named after the Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa, he was encouraged to join the film industry. One of Akira's inspirations as an actor is Steve Martin in The Jerk (1979). A few of Akira's skills include improvisation, stand-up, and voice acting. Akira is most well known for playing the role of "Ramirez Hishkenstien" in Bad People Doing Bad Things (2021) and Hishkenstien: After Dark (2024).
