Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Andrei Deryabin was born: 23 March 1963. In 1989: Faculty of Literature, Saint-Petersburg State University. From 1986-93: Library File Editor, Saint-Petersburg State University; and then Deputy Director of the University Library.

Since 1992 he has worked with ABC (USA) as a local producer in Saint-Petersburg (TV-news and special projects). In 1993 founded Hermitage Bridge Studio, a controlling interest in which belongs to the State Hermitage Museum (Saint-Petersburg, Russia). The Studio has partial use of the resource of Lenfilm Feature Film Studios. From 1993 to the present HBS has produced TV programs, feature films and documentaries (see separate list of company's activities). As General Director of HBS Andrey Deryabin works as production manager, line producer, associate producer, producer and scriptwriter in movie business. 1997 - "Twinning": Three-session workshop for co-productions, organized by international program MEDIA - EUREKA. 2005 - EAVE (European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs) Program. EAVE is a leading European media training programme providing long and short seminars - workshops and forums - as well as continuous services on-line to European producers and professionals. 2005 - Country representative in E*M*P*A (European Motion Picture Producer's Association) 2006 - ACE producer (Ateliers du Cinema Europeen - a European training Programme and mutually supportive network of producers serving independent cinema).

The album &quot;A Mischievous Eisenstein&quot; was produced by Andrey Deryabin. International development by Sergey Gamaev (Canada).

May 2006 - Within the Official Program of the 59th International Cannes Film Festival the Festival de Cannes and the Hermitage Bridge Studio (St. Petersburg, Russia) present an exhibition devoted to the great Russian film director Sergey Eisenstein. The exhibition &#39;Eisenstein&#39; was produced by Andrey Deryabin and Joel Chapron (France).

April 2006 - Within the Official Program of visit of the Governor of Saint-Petersburg in Shanghai (People&#39;s Republic of China): Exhibition of Costumes and Gala-Concert in Grand Theater in Shanghai. Both the exhibition and the concert were produced by Andrey Deryabin

January 2004: National Ceremony &#39;Wreath of Memory&#39; in Palace Square, Saint-Petersburg, with the participation of the State Hermitage, the Mariinsky (formerly Kirov) Theatre and the Government of Saint-Petersburg. Produced by Andrey Deryabin

May 2004: Concept for and TV coverage of Pritzker Prize Award Ceremony - the world&#39;s most prestigious prize in the sphere of architecture (State Hermitage Museum, Saint-Petersburg).
