Biography

Kate Godfrey is known for Middleton's Changeling (1998), Callas Forever (2002) and Dangerfield (1995).

Trained at Cygnet Training Theatre in Exeter, Devon, from which she graduated in 1986.

Retrained as a voice teacher in the 1990s and has since worked in that capacity for the National Theatre and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Daughter of actors Patrick Godfrey and Amanda Walker.

Granddaughter of Madeleine Christie.

[2015] Appointed Head of Voice for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
