LOGLINE: No-knock warrants is a product of the country's "war on drugs" launched by President Richard Nixon in the 1970s and gained momentum in the 1980s under President Ronald Reagan. On 2/2/2022 Judge Peter Cahill issued a "Property Search Warrant" to Saint Paul Police that was carried out in Minneapolis at the Bolero Flats Apartments. Minneapolis Police with Saint Paul Officers on the scene decided to use a "No Knock Warrant" just before 6:00 AM which led to the death of 22-year-old Amir Locke who was asleep on a friend's couch. No charges were brought in this case.
