Declan Curran

Declan Curran is an actor, writer, and producer. His latest short film Dear Imelda (2024) - starring Rose Henderson (Father Ted) premiered at the Chicago Irish Film Festival, and later screened at the Oscar® & BAFTA-qualifying Foyle Film Festival, where it received a Special Mention (Runner-Up for Best Irish Short Film). Created independently with his cousin and collaborator Árón Holden, Dear Imelda has since screened internationally and is now available on Disney+. Indie Shorts Mag praised the film - awarding Five-Stars calling it "Perhaps one of the finest shorts to come out this year". Declan’s earlier work includes the multi-award-winning short Shine (2021).
