Rachel is an American production designer, art director, visual development artist, and philanthropist whose career in feature animation spans more than 25 years. From her beginnings at Blue Sky Studios to her current work at Warner Bros. Pictures Animation, Rachel has consistently helped shape some of the most beloved animated films of our time. Her credits include Ice Age, Rio, Kung Fu Panda, Trolls, Trolls World Tour, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run (Production Designer). She is an Annie Award winner for Best Production Design TV/Media category for her work on ONI: Thunder God's Tale (Art Director) for Netflix and Tonko House.
Rachel is the Production Designer for an upcoming Looney Tunes Short Film, as well as a Feature Film in development at Warner Brothers Pictures Animation.
Rachel has also shared her knowledge generously as a professor at the School of Visual Arts, a mentor through Women in Animation, She has been a guest speaker and provided Outreach to USC, Art Center, SVA, NYU, Pratt and Parsons. She has participated in panels at FMX, Women in Animation, and SpongeBob's 20th Anniversary, and her work has been featured in Animation Magazine, Keyframe Magazine, and on the Schoolism podcast.
