Mel Case is a half-Colombian, bilingual performer, writer, director and producer who acts, sings, and performs sketch/stand up comedy. Comedy is their genre and they love making people laugh.
Mel was raised in Menlo Park, CA where they grew up singing in choir and taking acting classes, and eventually performing in musicals in high school. Mel studied at ACT's Young Conservatory in high school, a prestigious youth program in San Francisco.
After graduating from high school, Mel attended UCLA as a Theater major. They also studied playwriting and screenwriting there.
Mel eventually performed sketch in San Francisco as a part of Killing my Lobster sketch troupe, which is where Mel started directing both sketch shows and micro budget sketch videos for YouTube.
Mel resides in Los Angeles with their daughter, who is also an actor, and their four pets: one dog, one leopard gecko, and two parakeets.
