Dércio Tomás Ferreira is an Angolan screenwriter, director and editor.
In 2018 he started in filmmaking, by producing indie short films, while graduating from university, in Coimbra. His shorts have a singular signature - heavy stories with delicate topics. Social issues being his main focus.
His most recent work are "Olhares sobre o racismo - All eyes on racism", a documentary about the last 30 years of fight against racism in Portugal, in collaboration with the most recognizable anti-racism association of Portugal, and two short films, "Mulher - Woman" and "Untold".
Farthermore, he has been working as a freelancer with different entities, producing commercials, promo videos, and mostly, music videos for notorious artists.
