Joe is a passionate and visionary creative writer, producer, director, and editor. He is known for his unique storytelling style that invites audiences into immersive and transformative journeys. Joe's career spans a wide range of creative projects, from short and feature films, TV shows, and commercials, to music videos. A former first responder with the New York Operating Engineers during the 9/11 tragedy, he is also the founder of Ariola Productions. His producing credits include the feature film Coalition (starring Raekwon of Wu-Tang Clan, Frank Vincent, Chuck Zito, and Michael Wright), distributed by Image Entertainment, and the horror film Knock Knock, distributed by Grindstone/Lionsgate. Joe is also the writer and director behind the award-winning short film Something to Give and is currently rewriting Dancing Out of The Dark: The George Velasquez Story. In addition to his individual projects, Joe has joined forces with his best friend Anais Almonte to form 2GUNS Productions. Together, they create powerful, thought-provoking films with a distinct voice. Their thriller Delusional, now streaming domestically, and short films The Roommate and Justice, highlight their innovative approach to storytelling. The duo is also developing Alex 2GUNS, a groundbreaking Latina superhero TV series.
