Biography

Jen Apgar was born on May 21, 1972. She was an actress, known for Cold Mountain (2003), The Skeleton Key (2005) and Sweet Home Alabama (2002). She was married to Jiri Vala. She died on February 19, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Had twins (b. in December 2015 six weeks premature) with her now widowed husband Jiri Vala.

Grew ill with ovarian cancer very quickly. It was only in December 2016 that she was admitted into the hospital to remove fluid. Then she begin chemotherapy that made her very unwell. And she needed help, eventually hiring a nanny to care for infant twins as she endured treatment. She began a new treatment in January 2017, and fully anticipated improvement. The cancer had metastasized and she died the next month.
