Nishant Pandey (Born, 23 July), is an Indian Actor, Writer & Filmmaker. Born to an Army background in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh. Nishant's schooling was from various defense schools, namely; Naval School Colaba, Mumbai; Army School Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh; Army School Darjeeling, West Bengal and Air Force School Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Nishant as a child was a bright kid who would put his interest to learn things faster. Though he found little interest in academics he still would rank above average in his final exams. He was also the top 3 rankers amongst his classmates. However, he has stated that he performed his best in extracurricular and outdoor sports, especially in Athletic sprinting, football, cricket, volleyball, and basketball. He is a sports enthusiast who loves to enroll in playing rather than watching sports. Dramatics- performing art and dancing was inborn with him. He would spend his most time practicing dance and singing on his weekends from school. He says his parents and grandparents had all these creative qualities somewhere and he has just inherited from them and he just practices to refine them more. Both, his mother and father were Medical Defense personnel in the Army Medical Corps & Military Nursing Service, now both retired. Whereas his mother was working as a Lt. Col. in Medical officer rank. Nishant's parents, both are second generation medical nursing officers. Nishant's grandfathers were also into Army medical Corps, where his mother's father, His Nana was a dental specialist and his father's Dad, His Dada was a skin specialist in army. Like any other concerned family, Nishant's family wanted him to serve in the army as a medical officer. They wished as they thought he would have a secure future and would live in the same environment and lead a similar lifestyle. Nishant scored A+ in various subjects, especially biology, and would do great in science. Cause of his medical background as a child he had a deep interest in medicines, healthcare, and vulnerology. With great academics, His passion since childhood was pursuing acting to become a diverse Star performer someday. As a child in his schooling days, Nishant was creatively involved in various curriculums of his schools and even locally where these dance competition events were organized. He has various medals, certificates, and honors on his respective platforms. Acting, Music, and Dance came organically to him in his childhood. He occasionally performed in School Theatres, Singing, Painting, and Dance competitions. His background never allowed him to stick to one place, so he was constantly traveling every 3-4 years to a new school and surrounding. But that wouldn't stop him from grabbing love and fandom. He was his teacher's favorite bright and notorious student. His popularity in acting, dance and performances in schools inspired him to choose acting and film-making as his lifetime interest in profession. After his HSC education, Nishant chose to take his passion for art seriously and his parents too supported his childhood dreams.

FILMOGRAPHY AND UPCOMING PROJECTS Nishant has been a popular face of various Youth Based Shows. He started actively working in television in 2016. He has done popular TV shows like Channel V's Gumrah Season 4 [ Disney Hotstar], Yeh Jawaani Ta Ra Ri Ri [Channel V/Disney Hotstar], Suvreen guggal -Topper of the year, Bindaas's Love by Chance, Bindaas's Zindagi Wins, Bindaas's Yeh hai Aashique and also Bindaas's Emotional Atyachaar: Science of Catching a Cheater. Later in 2015, He did a popular daily soap for DD National, Khwabon ke Darmiyan; as the lead with his same name, "Nishant", which also garnered him popular household recognition.

In the era of digital films and short films. Nishant has been experimental with his characters. He played a Drug Pedler in HIFI: Drug Trip Shortfilm which was popularly featured in PocketFilms in the Thriller Genre. Played a Shady Anti-Hero in Kumar Siddharth's Psychological Thriller Web Film, You Make Me Feel Alive. But also switched to his versatility playing a Comic Lover boy Hero in Emotional Fools [Comedy Web Show-Youtube Series].

He also quickly garnered a lot of recognition and became a popular face of multiple print and video ad campaigns, famously for Axis Bank Friendship Day Print campaigns, Glamyo Health Ad campaign with Rajat Kapoor, Knee Care Ad Campaign with Zareena Wahab, Sanatan Realty Ad Campaign with Kanwaljit Singh, Cherise Tapri Ad Campaign with Rakesh Bedi, Plantex Security Ad With Rahul Dev & Mugdha Godse, EasyCare Medical Equipments Campaign With Murli Sharma, and many more. INTERNATIONAL FILMOGRAPHY India-Bhutan; 's First International Collaboration Thriller/ Horror Film, Rolong: Make The Dead Walk (2022) is also among his projects as the Protagonist Lead which got released on March 2023 in International Market / Bhutan. His second International Film collaboration with Bhutan, which is a high octane Drama Thriller, "Max Ki Gunn" is also slated to release tentatively by Sept 2024.

GOALS AND AMBITION Nishant finds himself in the arena of versatility and grace. Coming from a background of performing arts, Nishant loves indulging into the skin of the character. While pacing with television he realized the limitations of the character, their graph, and their potential in the story. He states that in the long run "it may bore the audience after a while. Whereas films and series have a different perspective to present. Quick stories and sharp characters, great start middle- and end to the story". He enjoys doing them more. He has actively tried his hands in all-formats and genres as the protagonist lead. He also loves switching Media Platforms, Be it Film, Web, or TV, he loves them all but that doesn't stop him from trying the next, if, The Content and character speaks volumes.
