- Janne Widmark was born on July 28, 1977 in Hofors, Sweden. He is a writer, known for Over Your Dead Body (2026), Kollektivet Barata - Den gordiska knuten (2001) and The Conference (2023).
- Started "Västerbottens Amatör Film Festival" (VAFF) 1995. A free festival with films in any shape or form made by filmmakers younger than 26. The festival still exists in Västerbotten but under the name "Västerbottens Allmänna Film Festival". He is no longer attached to it.
