Joseph King(XIII)

Joseph is a bilingual filmmaker and editor whose passion for visual storytelling has defined his career path. With a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Oregon and a Master's Degree in Film Editing from the prestigious American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles, he brings both academic training and natural talent to his current roles as Associate Producer on two significant projects - the indie film "Junkie" (Executive Produced by Patty Jenkins) and the upcoming documentary "Buzz" - while also serving as Assistant Editor on the comedy film, "Skinemax."

His journey began in childhood, crafting movies with his brothers and developing an eye for both emotional storytelling and technical precision that has only grown stronger with time. During his tenure at AFI, Joseph worked on eight productions, including two thesis films, with his editing work on 'Magdalena' earning significant recognition including Best Student Short at Indie Shorts Awards Cannes and the coveted Golden Tadpole award from EnergaCAMERIMAGE Etudés. His bilingual abilities and multicultural perspective, combined with his unwavering dedication to his craft, have established Joseph as a rising talent in the industry with a unique capacity for telling diverse and compelling stories.
