Biography

Scott has over 25 years of experience on a wide range of Film & TV productions, specialising in Feature Films, Television Drama and Commercials, receiving several nominations and awards for his work. These include being nominated for an AFI Best Sound Award for "Bran New Dae", and receiving the WASA Best Sound, Long Format award for "Bad Girl".

With his extensive array of high-end equipment, Scott has the discipline and skills necessary for capturing a performance... and can guarantee clean, crisp dialogue even in the most demanding locations - 'saving time and money in post production'

Scott is extremely passionate about his craft and takes his work very seriously and being a skilled operator has a reputation for the work he provides as being more polished and ready for track laying that requires very little to no ADR, with his most recent work on Feature Films requiring no ADR at all.

Scott was trained and became a very proficient Boom Swinger before moving onto Location Sound Mixing. This not only gives him a greater understanding of Film Sound but also puts him in the unique position of being able to train people for the future, as contemporary Drama Sound Recording requires excellent skills at both Radio Miking and Boom Swinging.
