Biography

Miranda completed a bachelor's degree in English with Film Theory at King's College London. During her undergraduate, she studied abroad for a semester at the University of California, Berkeley. Upon graduating from KCL in 2016, she undertook the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Professional Program in Screenwriting Online. She then completed her Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting at the University of California, Los Angeles. She received a University Fellowship in her first year and was a finalist in the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Feature Screenwriting competition. She received both the WIF Eleanor Perry Writing Award and Felicia D. Henderson Screenwriting Fellowship in her second and final year. She completed a Professional Program in Producing at UCLA and another in Acting for the Camera.
