Luke Oliveira-Davies is a Creative Producer and CEO of Polari, an award-winning production company focused on queer and underrepresented stories. His debut TV documentary, Stranger in My Family, won the BBC Three Northern Docs Pitch (2022) and was nominated for 'Best Documentary Programme' at the Broadcast Awards (2024). The film is available on BBC iPlayer.

Luke's first short film, What Would Julie Do?, has received acclaim on the festival circuit, with awards for 'Best Comedy Short' and 'Best Production Design'. His second short, On Rest & Movement, premiered at the BAFTA-qualifying Bolton Film Festival (2023), while his latest short, Before I Do, was awarded National Lottery funding through the BFI Network Short Film Fund (2023).

As Assistant Producer on Savage Waters, directed by Emmy winner Mikey Corker, Luke contributed to a film that won Best Picture and multiple Best Documentary Feature awards. The film premiered in UK & Ireland cinemas in October 2023.

Luke is a BAFTA Connect member and has participated in the Momentum programme and Thrive programme. He is an alumnus of the BFI Creative Producers Lab (2019) and was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award (2020) for his 48-hour short film, Tomorrow. He was also a finalist for 'Young Person in Business' at the North West LGBTQ+ Business Awards (2022).

He has received funding from BAFTA, Creative UK, Screenskills, and the Film & TV Charity. Luke co-founded the Queer Filmmakers Network CIC, a social enterprise with over 400 members supporting LGBTQIA+ filmmakers across the UK.
