Biography

Michael is Midwest born and raised, but the world is his home, and his friends are his family. He loves to travel, laugh, run around, ride bikes, take in the sweet smell of coffee or whiskey, and enjoy the pure magic of an organic conversation.

Michael spent his younger years running around barefoot in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he eventually graduated from UNL to be a high school social science teacher. He and his younger brother were always building and creating together, whether it was an elaborate fort of toy soldiers, a game, or a series of drawings. Michael entered the production scene after college when his entrepreneur brother started a video studio, and invited Michael to build something with him yet again. The two of them worked together for 5 years, and after that Michael joined the community of freelance film pros as a director & DP.

Michael has been a self-employed commercial director & DP since July, 2017, and has worked with an array of agencies, production houses, and direct clients. Michael's primary focus is commercial production, but he has also been involved in feature documentaries and short films.
