Dmitriy Buzko(1890-1937)

Dmitry Ivanovich Buzko was a Ukrainian writer, critic, politician, and screenwriter. He graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Copenhagen (1915). As a professional Bolshevik, Buzko was a leader in active revolutionary work in Ukraine. In 1908, he was exiled to the Irkutsk region, from where he fled to Switzerland. In 1917, he returned to his homeland. In 1920-1926, editor of the All-Ukrainian Film Management (Vseukrainske Foto Kino Upravlinnia) in Kharkiv and Kyiv. Screenwriter of five films, worked with Les Kurbas. He was repressed during Stalin's Great Purge in 1937.
