Arthur Lightbody was a language researcher, Bible translator and public relations professional with a mission agency for some 40 years. Lightbody's rich occupational history that includes travel in more than 30 countries, and extensive writing and radio program interviews, provides him with many backstories.
His has been a life of moving from investigating and understanding other cultures and individual stories to wanting to be part of sharing meaningful stories in the medium of film. That career for him began in in 2020. He enjoys comedic as well as serious roles.
In addition to acting, Lightbody creates visual art and is a Bible teacher. Married with three grown sons, he has dual American and Canadian Citizenship.
